Every samaj, trust and NGO runs on people — families, volunteers, donors and committee members who give their time to keep the community connected. Yet most communities still manage all of this with registers, spreadsheets and dozens of WhatsApp groups.

That's why we built Samaj.app: an all-in-one digital platform that helps communities connect, manage and grow — from one secure place.

The problem we set out to solve

Talk to any community secretary or treasurer and you'll hear the same story:

• Member details are scattered across old registers, Excel files and phone contacts.
• Matrimonial requests are handled informally, with little privacy for families.
• Donations and expenses are tracked by hand, which makes reporting slow and trust hard to earn.

• Events — event creation, RSVPs, ticketing and QR-code check-in.
• Committees & roles — set up committees and decide exactly who can see and do what.
• News, gallery & notifications — announcements over SMS and WhatsApp, unlimited photo and video albums, and real-time alerts.

Three experiences, one platform

Samaj.app gives every role the view it needs:

1. Admin dashboard — a command center where community leaders manage users, approve profiles, track finances and send announcements.
2. Member portal — a personal space for every family to update their profile, browse the directory, pay dues and search for matrimonial matches.
3. Public website — an SEO-optimized page where the community shares its news, history and upcoming events with the world.

Each community also gets its own portal address, such as yoursamaj.samaj.app.

Built with security first

Community data is personal, so Samaj.app treats it that way. Data is encrypted in transit with SSL/TLS and at rest with AES-256, each community's data is logically isolated, backups run daily, and granular role-based access keeps sensitive information with authorized committee members only. Member data is never sold or shared.
